Known for blending driving percussion with warm, soulful textures, he channels both the precision of a seasoned craftsman and the instinct of a risk-taker. SHANH is a Chicago based DJ by way of the DMV area. He started out DJing underground and DIY parties, which led to co-founding Occasion. With a deep afinity for Groovy, Deep, and Melodic House, his sound is inspired by growing up listening to Disco, R&B, Old School Hip-Hop, Go-go and Rock music. In the right settings, he likes to throw down darker Techno sounds, Drum & Bass, and Jungle.
